This week we had a very special Kamishibai story time with Vice-Principal Lee.
 Thanks to Ms. McKernan for organising a fantastic Australia Day Story time. There was a quiz and some delicious crackers with Vegemite!! Mr. Last read the story Possum Magic by Mem Fox. The book is in the English library. You can find it on the Australia Day book display.

Pete the Cat was the special guest at story time today. He even wore his favorite shirt with four big, colorful groovy buttons. All the students enjoyed listening to Mr. Kelly tell the story Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons by Eric Litwin & James Dean. Students enjoyed listening to a story read by one of the library volunteers. Thank you to to Ms. Moon for such a wonderful reading.
An immersion teacher reads I Want my Hat Back by Jon Klassen. Its one of the books nominated for the 2013 Sakura Medal.
