As a class we read Wiener Wolf. The children read aloud the ‘Arooooo!’ parts. We talked about sound words, sang a word sound song and brainstormed other sound words. The children made these wonderful sound word posters!

The library has been thoroughly and professionally cleaned. The carpets and sofa have been restored to like new condition.
We'd like to thank Iwamoto Clean Service (イワモト クリーンサービス) for doing a wonderful job. 
The library is scheduled for cleaning on this Saturday at 9 A.M.
It will reopen Monday on regular schedule. The vice-principal has requested the library be open at lunch time and after school tomorrow and Friday. The library remains closed due to mold. A cleaning crew was hired but they failed to clean the library carpets and sofa properly. We are currently negotiating with the school to have the library cleaned properly and to professional standard.
 Grade 6 is exploring the topic "Energy". As part of this exploration they are completing a poster project. The book Energy by Matt Mullins is available in the library for students to read. Find out more about Grade 6 science by clicking here.
The library is closed temporarily. We are having the carpet and furniture cleaned.
