We are very proud of all the students who read so many books for Read Across TKS and wrote wonderful book reviews for the Sakura Medal Review. Students who read all 20 Sakura Medal books and students who read 100 or more books for Read Across TKS received a special certificate. Even a few English teachers earned a certificate for encouraging students to READ MORE BOOKS!! ^_^  Congratulations to the winner. She is a student in Ms Novkov's Language Arts class and in Ms. Kang's (5-3) homeroom. Her ticket was picked and she won the Sakura Medal Super Study Pack which included the Apple iPad 2! What a lucky and hard working young lady! Today was a lot of fun. Students who read 75 books or more in Read Across TKS came to the library for a movie & pizza party. Katie Van Camp will be storytelling in school on Monday 16th, 2012. Don't miss it !
